Heinz Rewards Investors with a 4% Dividend
Nine stocks have reported dividend increases this week, although not much news from the dividend achievers or aristocrats and very little to say about the market’s performance this past week; let us get straight down to business.

McKesson Corp (MCK), an IT provider to the pharmaceutical industry, has increased its dividend 50% to $0.18 per share. This gives the stock a new yield of 1.04%. Our only dividend achiever to report an increase this week is SEI Investments (SEIC), provider of investment management solutions, which has increased its dividend 10% to $0.10 per share. This generates a yield of 1.00%.
Final Thoughts
Nothing here really makes for good reading for a dividend investor, as the yields announced this week fail to go past 4%. Heinz is the obvious choice for investors here with a yield of 4.04%, a very strong brand, and an excellent pedigree.
